We have been helping businesses with Affirmative Action planning and solutions since 1993.
In 1967, President Lyndon B. Johnson introduced the concept of Affirmative Action. The policies set in motion were designed to assist minorities who were underrepresented in areas such as employment, education, and business.
Shortly after, Ted Stephens, our founder, set out with a vision to assist businesses in accomplishing President Johnson’s goals.
Today, we have created hundreds of Affirmative Action Plans, for scores of clients across the United States.
Ted graduated from Indiana University with an MBA and a B.S. Degree in Business. After years of a successful business career, he ventured out into Human Resources consulting and built a broad-based clientele across HR disciplines throughout the U.S.
In 1993, he decided to focus his human resources activity on writing Affirmative Action plans for government contractors responsible for diversity and compensation compliance efforts. He has applied his broad HR expertise with many companies in Silicon Valley and across the United States. He has prepared thousands of plans that meet Affirmative Action requirements, from developing their first Affirmative Action plan to successfully supporting OFCCP audits.
Brenda Stephens-Smithee graduated from California State University, Monterey Bay, with a Bachelors of Science degree in Integrated Studies. She has over a decade of experience consulting and developing Affirmative Action plans for clients all over the United States.
